Mr and Mrs Egerton run Plas Warren, in Dudleston, near Ellesmere, a small Bed and Breakfast and Wedding Venue. The Egertons showed an interest in Wood Fuel Biomass, and after a recommendation by a family member, they contacted us in October 2013 to talk to our technicians. Encouraged by the friendly, helpful personality of the company, they booked a site survey.
Once our quote had been accepted, Mr and Mrs Egerton were eager to continue with the installation. Originally Llani Solar and Biomass were to fit an 80 kW Smart chip/pellet boiler, along with a 2000 litre buffer vessel and a 200 litre expansion vessel to provide heat and hot water to the Bed and Breakfast, as well as to their son Tom’s house. However, due to a manufacturer delivery issue, the Smart boiler was not delivered in time and so was replaced with an 80 kW KWB pellet boiler. We also completed additional plumbing work, fitting new radiators to the living room, kitchen, a bedroom and a shower room, and replacing the main hot water cylinder, and a smaller cylinder, as well as updating the previous plumbing system to meet the current standards required. Unfortunately the fitting was fraught with difficulties and was not completed until March 2014, throughout which our technicians, plumbers and electricians worked tirelessly.
Since then, the managing director of KWB has visited the site from Austria, and reports that he is extraordinarily impressed with the standard and appearance of the installation.
